Ben Thompson #907 burst upon the AMA scene as a privateer in 2006 by taking pole position at the Mid-Ohio Superbike Finale Shootout.  He led the first lap and scored his first top 10 finish.  Even superbike legend Miguel Duhamel was impressed.

In 2007 Ben rode several Superbike races for Evan Steel Performance and Millennium KWS Suzuki, as well as Supersport races for Rockwall Honda.

2008 sees him aboard the Millennium KWS Suzuki GSX-R1000 full time in both the Superbike and Superstock championships.
